Recently I posed the question “When was the last time I jumped for no reason at all?” in regard to this type of ‘spontaneous’ wedding photography. Well, apparently some people do jump for no reason at all. And it’s damned cool.

That is all.
My friend and I spent this past weekend with my mother and stepfather. Among other things, I took lots of photos of my mom’s garden, of which she is very (rightfully) proud. This is one of the closeup shots, which sadly doesn’t communicate the scale of JUST HOW ENORMOUS THESE BLOOMS WERE. I will make a CD of all my shots for her, but I am posting this here for the lovely blanddiva11.
Yes, I am a photographer, and yes… this was a (hopefully) once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go and shoot these protests, but there are a couple of overlying conditions that kept me away: 1) my fuse is unbelievably short with idiots, and 2) My temper is unbelievably short with crowds. I have chosen to document all of this from an objective distance. I would like to thank the journalists and friends that have been in the fray, and tweeted or emailed their information.
